How it works
- Scan the broken partGuided capture walks you round it with your iPhone's camera and LiDAR scanner.
- Reconstruct it on the devicePhotogrammetry runs locally. Nothing is uploaded.
- Measure it, and check the scan against your callipersEnter real measurements and LiDify calibrates the model to them — and tells you when the scan disagrees.
- Make it printableClose holes, set the orientation, cut a flat base, check it's watertight.
- Export and printSTL, 3MF or OBJ, straight into your slicer.
Optionally, hand it to an AI to model properly
A scan is a shape, not a drawing. LiDify can package everything an AI assistant needs — orthographic views, measurements, printability report — so it can help you rebuild the part as real parametric CAD. Either share the bundle into any assistant yourself, or ask Claude directly with your own API key, after the app has shown you exactly what will be sent.
What to know before you buy
Scanning needs LiDARiPhone 12 Pro or later Pro models, or an iPad Pro with
LiDAR. Without it you can still import and process models.
Accurate to about ±1 mmOverall size. Small features and surface detail are
worse — your callipers are the authority.

Not for everything
LiDify is a measurement aid, not a metrology instrument. Don't use it for structural, pressure-bearing, medical, vehicle, electrical or life-safety parts — the full list is in the Terms. Always verify the dimensions that matter by measuring the real part before you fabricate anything.
